Check your phone.
Run each check, collect its stamp, then share a report of what passed. Nothing is installed. Everything runs in your browser; only the network checks use the internet, and only when you press Start.
Your checks
Touch screen
Cover the whole screen with your finger. Every square turns green when it responds. Grey squares that never turn green are dead zones. Use several fingers at once to test multi-touch.
Display
Fill the screen with solid colors to spot dead or stuck pixels, burn-in and uneven tint. Tap to change color. Swipe or press back to exit.
Color gamut
Each pair shows the same color in standard sRGB (left) and Display P3 (right). On a wide-gamut screen the right half looks more vivid.
Cameras
Test the back and front cameras, the flashlight and the real resolution.
Microphone
Speak and watch the level. Nothing is recorded. Get the peak above -40 dB to earn the stamp.
Speakers
Play tones through the left or right speaker or both, or sweep the full range to hear rattles and distortion. Play left and right to earn the stamp. Raise the media volume first.
Vibration
Feel the motor in different patterns. If nothing happens, check that silent mode, battery saver and touch haptics are not blocking it.
Motion sensors
Tilt, turn and shake the phone. Lying still, the total force should read about 1.00 g. Shake it hard to count shakes.
Compass & level
Hold the phone flat and turn around. The dial shows north, and the bubble shows how level the phone is. Wave the phone in a figure 8 first if the heading looks wrong.
GPS location
Find out how well the phone can locate itself. Go near a window or outside for the best result. Your coordinates are shown only on this screen and are never saved or sent anywhere.
Battery
Live charge level, charging state, and how fast it is charging or draining while this page is open.

Network speed
Measures latency, download and upload using Cloudflare's public speed-test servers. It uses your mobile data if you are not on Wi-Fi.
Press Start. Speeds are approximate.
Connection
Connection stability
Pings a server twice a second and graphs the delay. Walk around while it runs to find where Wi-Fi or mobile signal gets weak. Uses only a few kilobytes a minute.
Press Start. A low, flat line is good. Red marks mean a reply never arrived.
Bluetooth & NFC
Optional. Find a nearby Bluetooth device or read an NFC tag. Needs Chrome on Android with Bluetooth and NFC turned on.
System
What the browser can tell about this phone.
Feature support
Phone report
Every check you've run, with its result. Results stay in this browser until you clear them.
Help
Which phones work?
Android phones with Chrome work best. Most checks also work in other Android browsers. iPhone support is planned for later, because Safari limits sensors, vibration and Bluetooth.
Why did a check ask for permission?
Camera, microphone, location and motion checks need your permission. Nothing is recorded or uploaded. Location coordinates are never saved, and the report only keeps the accuracy.
What leaves my phone?
Nothing, except when you press Start on Network speed or Connection stability. They talk to Cloudflare's speed servers. Every other check runs entirely in the browser.
How do I install it?
Open it in Chrome, then use the menu and choose Add to home screen, or press the button on the Checks page when it appears. It then works offline.
How do stamps work?
A stamp is awarded when a check shows real results. An orange "!" means it found a problem, such as a weak GPS fix, a slow connection or no vibration felt.
